Feel better in body and mind
You may understand a great deal about yourself already. You may have spent years in therapy or supported others through their pain. Yet you may still feel sad, anxious, angry or overwhelmed, and find that these feelings affect your work, relationships and relationship with yourself.

You may be very much in your head and find it hard to be in your body. Perhaps you know your trauma or distress still lives in you, but it can feel frightening. You may be tired of feeling low or in despair, and want to feel better in both body and mind.
More acceptance of yourself
I understand how difficult it can be to live with deep shame, to feel that everything is your fault, or to find self-compassion. You may care for others or put yourself last, while feeling disconnected from your own needs.

I believe there is no shame in being sensitive or feeling activated because of traumatic experiences. Your suffering is not a problem to be solved or a pathology. It deserves to be heard and understood with acceptance, curiosity and without judgement.
A different way forward
Feeling better may mean having a more accepting relationship with yourself and your body. It may mean feeling less sad, anxious or depressed; being able to experience emotions without becoming overwhelmed; and feeling more connected to who you are authentically.

You may want your relationships with family to feel different. You may want to feel less isolated, more able to make connections, and more able to care for yourself. At work, you may want support to sustain yourself in health care or mental health care, or space to consider a different direction.
Working with body, mind and soul
I offer another layer of therapy when talking has only taken you so far. My work includes counselling, psychotherapy and body-based Breathwork, because healing can involve the whole person: body, mind and soul.

You do not need to retell your trauma story or relive old experiences before you are ready. I listen to what is causing you to suffer now. We work at a pace directed by what feels comfortable for you, with space to understand the emotions, sensations and experiences that may be held in your body.

Over time, this can help you develop a deeper understanding of your reactions. You may begin to feel more at home in your body and more able to listen to what your body is telling you, respond to yourself with self compassion and be less reactive.
