Breathwork alongside psychotherapy
We always begin by connecting to your body slowly and at your pace. It is essential you feel safe with me and with yourself. Sometimes this may take time because being in your body may be something you have avoided because of traumatic experiences.
Breathwork is part of a therapeutic process that includes counselling, psychotherapy, somatic therapy and body work. There is time to talk, notice what arises and make sense of your experience.
I remain present and attuned throughout the process. You do not have to navigate difficult emotions alone.
Over time, you may begin to feel more at home in your body, less controlled by old patterns and more able to experience your emotions without becoming overwhelmed. You may develop a deeper understanding of yourself and a stronger sense that you can be your authentic self.

Counselling and psychotherapy offer a space to talk about what is happening in your life and what may be causing you to suffer.
You may have spent years caring for others, while finding little space for your own feelings, needs and experiences. You may feel anxious, sad, overwhelmed or disconnected from yourself. You may also understand a great deal about why you feel the way you do, yet find that the same patterns continue in your work, relationships and relationship with yourself.
My approach is based on listening deeply to your story, with acceptance, curiosity and without judgement or labels. I am interested in what you have experienced, what you are carrying now and what is taking you out of alignment with your true self, your values and who you are authentically.
Counselling and psychotherapy can help you make sense of your emotions, relationships, patterns and responses. They offer a place to be heard and accepted without needing to minimise what you have been through or explain away what you feel.
What is counselling and psychotherapy?
You don't need all the answers to begin
You do not need to have all the answers before beginning. Nor do you need to retell painful experiences before you are ready. We work at a pace that respects your experience, making space for what feels important to you.
For some people, talking and reflection have only taken them so far. This is why I also offer body-based Breathwork as part of my therapeutic approach, when it feels right for you. It can support a deeper understanding of the connection between your body. For example, when someone at work feels manipulative or unsafe, you may notice tightness in your chest or stomach. This can be your nervous system moving into a fight-or-flight response, often connected to an experience from the past rather than what is happening in the present moment.
With awareness, you can pause, listen to what your body is communicating, and choose a different response—one grounded in clear boundaries, honest expectations and self-trust.
